Anywho, this was pretty much my last outing before my 50hr work weeks begin.
In celebration of Canada Day, my friends and I hit Harbourfront and Woodbine beach :) I'm neither a fan of sand nor water but I wanted to see fireworks so I tagged along :D
First Indian food experience for me! It was pretty good!!! Totally recommend it if you are ever at Woodbine beach hehe.
A good selection of food. *thumbs up* Poor design *thumbs down*
What's Canada day without Canadian beer?!?!?! Cheers!
Came with a spicy sauce.. 'twas delicious.
Me: why is the pepper white?
Friend: the shake is not transparent.
Me: *face palm*
Some sort of chicken and rice... 'twas very good too.
Pale indeed. Good news though, I have been getting a bit darker :D
Dipping feet in the water. The water was actually really cold lol I like walking along the shoreline :D
Me: Let's put on some music! Adele yea?
Good times, good times.
And of course, I had to record the fireworks :) This is at 400x speed though because it was 14 minutes long. Doing this again next year? Hell no! The beach was so packed that the bus couldn't even move when people started leaving! I walked from Queen St. to Bloor and I beat the bus to it lol go figure.
i love indian food and adele! :D
ReplyDeleteit's been so hard for me to find work over the summer. i'm jobless! :(
@a,
ReplyDeleteI hear ya. I landed this summer job back in April actually.. I started looking very early. The only places I can think of that's hiring right now is retail and seasonal attractions (wonderland, cne etc.)
I have a photo from Centre Island that looks EXACTLY like the foot/water photo you have.. WILL POST SOON!
ReplyDeletei was in toronto for canada day. there were so many people in the bus x_x
ReplyDeleteIndian Food & ADELE! Great combo indeed :D
ReplyDeleteAnd yes! That top is definitely from Dynamite hahaha
awww looks like so much fun! i still haven't been to a beach yet this summer, i really want to go soon. I didn't get to watch fireworks this year, i only saw a couple really far away from my boyfriend's condo. booooo
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time! I always miss out on fireworks on Canada Day haha but at least this year I got to watch some back in Quebec so I guess that makes up for it.
ReplyDelete"the shake is not transparent."
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but laugh. Too cute Helen :)
Hope you have been surviving your new job!
You can do it!
